Since Maxwell Nvidia employs tiled rendering. Now they added Ray Tracing. Current gen consoles and AMD graphic cards lack both features as I know. That is next gen consoles (which presumably are to sport AMD-based APU's) and PC graphics are to go different ways?

you need to be more specific, i do not understand your question? chances are that nvidia will stick to ray tracing for 1 lineup of their cards are create a similar linup without raytracing such as the gtx 1660ti that is rumoured. i do not think consoles will use ray tracing technology but the extra tracing cores can be used by game devs and gamers alike for AI in games and therefore may become something big in the future or may just fall into a abyss and be laughed about. nobody can really know for sure.
