For some reason my gtx 780 is around 60c or 70c when idle and I don't know why. I've checked nvidia panel and the card is in adaptive, the case is corsair 650d and has good airflow. Anyone else have this problem?

Just to add my pc has been randomly restarting when playing games like rust and dayz, and it did the same blackscreen around 10 mins ago when I was just browsing the internet. Was suggested to get another powersupply and this did nothing.

but for idle temp don't you think that's a bit hot?

EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 780

NO, Make sure to have good air flow in your system and you should be ok. Like I said Your fine. Update your driver

Absolutely, those temps are high by about 20-30c.

So do you have an ACX cooler, or reference? Actually, I don't think EVGA had "0 dB" technology on their fans for the 780 series (turned off in idle). You can confirm by letting us know if your fans are spinning in idle.

Really, it seems like you should be cleaning your card to free up any dust that may have accumulated. After that, check your case ventilation. As a last resort, you might be in need of some fresh thermal paste.
