Question GPU temperature and MSI Afterburner settings

Hey guys, I currently have my GPU fan settings on “auto” on MSI afterburner, where it seems like the fans are off under 55 ish degrees before turning on.
My GPU however hovers around 45-50 degrees when I’m browsing the Internet/talking to friends on discord. Is that high for idle temp? Should I customize the fan curve settings, and if so, what do you guys recommend?
Build:
Monitor: Viewsonic XG2402
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 6gb
CPU: i5 8600k
Mobo: Gigabyte Z370P D3 ATX LGA1151
PSU: Corsair TX650M 650W 80+ Gold

No that's perfectly fine. Most GPUs can operate up to 90/100 degrees easily.
Most GPUs have the fan behaviour you describe, and most GPU fans will kick in around 50/60 degrees.
