i dunno why my GPU temps reaches to 78 when gaming sniper elite 3 max settings with 90+ FPS
this is the first time my gpu temp reach to 78c after watch dogs, when i was gaming watch dogs a couple of month ago it got to 78c max..

so the question is .. is Sniper Elite 3 GPU intensive just like watch dogs? or i'm having another problem?

my graphics card is HD 7870 XT , and my temps doesn't go over 72c in most of other games.

Solution
Try to tweak Your GPU via MSi Afterburner, and set it as I write:

35-40°C - 10-20% fan speed
40-60°C GPU load - 20-50% fan speed
60-70°C - 50-100% speed.

And that should solve all Your problems :)
I had a R9 270X hitting such high temps, it was litterally frying the vrm's and i had to return it.

My new R9 270X ( same card as the HD7870) runs max 56C. \

Make sure! you have plenty of cold airflow in your case.

my gpu version is Sapphire Dual-X HD 7870 XT .. its not winter here yet, the weather is not cold (i live in Egypt) and last winter my temps was 68c on heavy games such as far cry 3 ..i heard that any thing under 85c for GPU is fine, but i'm not sure if that's right..
is sniper elite 3 gpu intensive like far cry 3 and watch dogs?

i have one fan at the back of the case (out take) , my case is Thermaltake commander MS-III .. and i was planing of adding more fans next summer, but not now.

If Your VGA is good [Sapphire has solid cooling, but high "death" ratio], than it's environment. How warm is in Your room and what's Your relative humidity?

Thermaltake commander MS-III is built for one massive intake, one from the side, and two from the top + one from the back. On this case, You only have one exhaust?

yes i only have one exhaust at the back of the case .. i figured that i don't really need adding other fans right now because winter is coming .. my room temp. is average not cold and not very warm, but there is no much room for the case..
i dunno if that is a dangerous temp for the GPU or no..
the fan reaches to 67% max.
