GPU Thermal Pad

I have never had a an issue with my HP Pavilion G6 for years now but I would like to change the fan out since it is making noise for a few minutes at start up, then goes quite, probably dirt as all I ever did for 4 years is blow it out with an air compressor. And have read a lot about all this replacement well I would like to keep mine the way they have it, but the pad they use is over 70.00!!! Looking for the same thickness and kind for under 10.00 is that possible?? I don't need a sheet. the number to the one they use is 680571-001 ....

I'd just buy a sheet the right thickness off ebay and cut it to fit. If you want exact and new replacement parts for an old laptop then you can expect to pay a lot of money for it.

I would love to but can't seem to locate the dimensions and HP does not list this information
