[SOLVED] gpu trouble win10

I have a a88x-pro motherboard and I got a asus GeForce gtx 1060 oc 3gb gpu but windows 10 wont let me install drivers for it and don't know why freakin stupid any have a answer and wont even show up in device manager

the nividia graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows ,this graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware

latest driver from Nvidia website? windows 10 up to date on windows update?
monitor plug into the 1060 and not the motherboard output?
pcie cable plug in?
