Hello.
I've had my PC for 1 year and 4 months now (Built it in December, 2016)
MOTHERBOARD: MSI H110M Gaming
CPU: Intel i5-6500
GRAPHICS CARD: NITRO+ RX 470 4GB
RAM: Crucial BLS8G4D240FSE.16FBR2 1x8GB
HDD: WD Blue
PSU: CORSAIR VS550
NETWORKING: TP-LINK TL-WN881ND
TL;DR At the bottom.
Yesterday, I was playing a game and either the GPU turned off or the whole PC crashed but then tried to turn back on.
When it did turn back on my monitor picked up a signal from the graphics card and turned itself on but then showed "No Signal" and turned back off. The rest of the PC was on and working fine because I checked by connecting the HDMI cable through the port on my motherboard for it to use the integrated graphics and it was showing an image and working. When I tried to connect it back through the HDMI port on the graphics card the same no signal showed up and the monitor went off.
I've tried resetting the BIOS, updating the BIOS, clearing the CMOS but nothing has helped solve my problem.
I've also tried taking out the card and putting it back in along with other components but I face the same issue.
The LEDs on the card light up and I can change them using the button on the card itself, the EZDEBUG LED on my motherboard shows the VGA LED light up for a few seconds then turn off whenever I start the computer.
Now, since I don't have an old motherboard or graphics card since this was my first build I can't tell if the faulty PCI link is caused by the motherboard or the graphics card.
I'm not sure what else to do before attempting to RMA either one of them.
Thank you.
TL;DR: Computer crashed mid game, when it tried to turn back on the GPU was not posting an image but was getting power as the LEDs were on. Integrated graphics work fine and I can't check if the problem is caused by the motherboard or the graphics card.
