This is my first build and I’m running into problems with the gpu and monitor. The pc turns on, however the monitor says there is no signal from the pc. The gpu’s fans also turns off after a few seconds after booting. Does anyone know why?

Some options ...

The "short term loan kit" might be the best way,is one that you need to apply for, when you have it can you with that cpu update the motherboard bios and use the 2600. You'll need to send the "update kit" back afterwards. Other option as said is try a local store if you have one and ask if they can help you with it,might (and probably will) need to pay a fee for that.

Don't know if you can return the motherboard and get a B450 motherboard? Need to talk to the vendor for that option.

Has really nothing to do with you monitor btw,is just that some motherboard of the older series still don't have recent a enough enough bios to support that cpu you chose.
