I'm trying to use the GPU Tweak 2 software to overclock my graphics card. When I open the software and select ANY of the options, my windows display and other programs with static windows glitch out. I can run furmark or even heaven without the slightest of artifacting or crashing just fine though. I'm getting really sick of windows doing this. It's as if when I turn on that program, the system wont "refresh" windows that don't have anything moving in them or a reason to update them, such as a menu that has no transition effect.
All I do is sign out (not even restart the system), and log back in and it's fixed.
Why is it that I can clock the card at over 2000MHz on furmark and heaven or even time spy, but windows don't refresh properly.
I'm not really seeing any other software I'd want to use for Overclock, and AI Suite 3 with TPU doesn't actually apply GPU clocks that you set for some reason. I don't use TPU to manage my CPU, so we don't need to go down that rabbit hole.
