Gpu under load when idle?

I have a weird issue, When my pc SHOULD be idle on the desktop, my gpu spikes to 100% load and after a while goes to a steady 70% load until I move the mouse. I thought a virus was causing this but I scanned and cleaned everything and the problem persists. I have a Club 3D AMD Radeon 7950 '13 series. Any idea on what I can do?

Check for a Bit-mining virus. These will use the GPU.

Thanks guys. I thought I scanned everything but a full scan found the virus in no time!
