I have a Dell inspiron n5110 with a dedicated graphic card. My laptop was running fine till yesterday but today as i started gaming on my laptop it started to shut down. I tried many things but to no avail. Then i uninstalled my nvidia graphic card and tried to run the game again it wroked just fine but as soon as i installed my nvidia card and triend running it on it the laptop again got shutdown. i searched the internet and found a software named GPU-Z.
I tried to monitor the temperature in case the laptop shuts down due to overheating. The results were very weird under a VERY VERY small load the temperatures rose to a staggering 100c. and the pc got shutdown like it was doing before the exact same way. Even when only running Google Chrome using my GPU it goes upto 80c :??: .The GPU ideal temperature was around 58c.

Again i searched the internet and everywhere i found out was change the THERMAL PASTE as my laptop is two years old now and i do a lot of gaming.
I have not overclocked it ever. I have latest drivers and BIOS version installed.
Please guide me. I really need some help . Thank you.

Hmm. Maybe press down on the battery and choose power saving because maybe your currentp profile have the CPU set to 100% maybe not sure if that would fix it but give it a try.
