[SOLVED] GPU upgrade 1080 Ti

Hey guys, i'm strugling to decide if a 1080 Ti is right for me

CPU Ryzen 5 1600x
PSU 750w Dont remember brand
GPU Asus Radeon r9 380 4gb OC
ATX B350-Plus
RAM 2x8GB 2666mhz DDR4

Im looking for a gpu upgrade but i really dont want to replace my future gpu anything soon
From what ive seen my fit is the GTX 1080 TI, i see it as a gpu that will last me 4+years, i though about any of the RTX but the fact that the new tech wont be used until half of 2019 for na extra 400-500 its too much

I still believe 1080 ti is the better value for the money, but id love to hear your opinions

I would like to remain amd as i'v elike this gpu i have atm, but the vega seems a bit of a disapoitment for the price and the review i read dont inspire me much

Don't buy the RTX. Go for the 1080Ti. The 1080Ti will last more than 4 years, as you expected.

The RTX GPU are really not ready yet for ray-tracing, the are no games too.

Go for the 1080Ti.
