I am looking at the RX 580 runes at 225W. My Current GPU uses 250W. But my build is a 2014 build and not the top rated tech from the time bought. I tried looking into my PC hardware again for power wattage needed and I was not able to find the watt power for all my components. Which are:

CPU: AMD 8350 FX Black Edition (unlocked) (125W)
Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 Bios ver. 2501 (bios not updated) (Unknown) 140W CPU Support
Corsair CML8GX3M2A 1866C9B MHz 9-10-9-27 1.50v ver. 8.22 (Unknow)
R9 280X XFX GPU (250W)
PSU Roswell ARC 750 (750W) 80 Plus Bronze (N/A)
1TB HDD Western Digital Blue MDL: WD10EZEX-07M2NA0 (Unknown)
Case (Unknown)
Drive (Unknown)
Wattage Total: Usage 375W

On this note, I don't know how I made this build. I can only guess the new GPU will run fine with the components I already have. And probably how I made the decision to build my current system. Thinking CPU is least than mobo cpu support (140W)- I cant go on any further, memory just threw me off comparing it to the CPU. But being that the GPU is like 6-7 years older than my current GPU it might just need a newer PSU. Or even a new mobo.

What can I keep from my current system to run it with the RX 580 ?

Ok, one more thing!

I will need a display port to vga adapter that I need one for an old CRT monitor. The RX 580 card is a 1.4 Display Port only option but I see a Rosewell DP 1.2 to VGA/HDMI adapter that I want, will this work fine?

or how about this one?

Furthermore, HDMI is not specified does this mean any cable version of HDMI will work?

Here is the specification page of the card.
