Hello, I'm getting a GTX 1050ti for my computer and I was wondering if it would bring dramatic increase of performance for my PC.

My specs are from the Lenovo K450
Motherboard: Default motherboard from Lenovo
i5-4440 3.1 GHz
8gb of RAM
GT 635 (OEM) as my current GPU

I'm now debating on getting the Rx 470 rather than the GTX 1050 ti, any suggestions?

You'll almost certainly need to upgrade the power supply to put an RX 470 in it, for the 1050 ti I still would but it's borderline. As for gaming performance, either of those GPUs would be like stepping from darkness into the light in terms of gaming performance and would have your computer 100% ready for current AAA titles and probably ones in the near future. Since the 1050 ti is ~$140-150 where I am and the RX 470/570 is significantly faster and doesn't cost much more, I'd lean towards buying one of those and a power supply.

EDIT: This is what I'd get
