Hello guys:

I want to upgrade my pc's gpu my specs are as follows

Cpu: core i7 920 2.66 MHZ 8 cores
Ram: 8 gb
GPU: GeForce gtx 260 1792mb dedicated
Motherboard: Dell
Psu: I could'not determine model wattage make etc..
Monitor: Dell UHD res.. 2150x1550
Os: win home prmm 64bit

I can play gta v like charm in ultra setting (2150x1550) with everything on maximum but... I cannot play games like cod advanced war fare. And many other titles as they require dxd11 or 11.2 so... I went to a local store and and seek some gpu... and there was a gtx 960 gpu .... I knew that is a high end gpu... but the the guy told me that I cannot upgrade to gtx 960 because of pci thing . So what gpu suggesting for my current specs so that I can play recent titles at least 1080p . Plz help which gpu to upgrade that I can save bucks also.
Can I upgrade to gtx 750 2gb or gtx 750ti 2gig.

I did not see this last question and already found out that you can upgrade to GTX900 series, if you wish.
Dell tested this with PNY GTX900 series http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/category.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&category_id=7729&~ck=anav&nf=48767~0~930492&sort=-price&p=2
You don't have to buy from Dell http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133579
Prior to purchasing, just to be sure, take a measuring tape and check your space, if it is longer than 9.5 inches, this card will fit.
This card cooling is much better than open fan of GTX750TI, see below.

What thing? You will need, preferably PSU upgrade (GTX 970). Standard ATX PSU with at least 5 SATA connectors needed, when installing don't worry if you will have an opening, also you possibly would able to use only 2 screws, as I seen somewhere that screw configuration is a bit different.
GTX 960 reported working on Dell 460 watt PSU and you have an extra 15 watts, so, if you would not overclock this card or run FutureMark tests for long, stressing the card, original PSU should be fine, at least to start.

But coming back to GTX750TI.
First your power supply of 475 watt (correct?) will handle this card without any issues.
I, personally and usually recommend to stay away from EVGA newer cards for any XPS 8000 series, is this applicable to yours, I hope not, but I don't want you to find out that this is true.

One more thing. I have seen issues with your case in terms of cooling. All GTX750TI cards have cooling system which keep the hot air in the case, be aware of this, if you will see some signs of overheat (stability in games after long gaming, crashes, freezes), then you would have to at least upgrade your 2 fans, correct me if I am wrong, you have front 120mm and back 92mm fans, or I am wrong?
If temps will rise, you would have to put much stronger fans instead of OEM, so save a few extra PSU connectors for later, just in case.

Prior to video card upgrade it is usually recommended to upgrade BIOS, however I would advice you to install card as is first, if problems arise, upgrade to the latest A16 http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=R271261

Anything else I can help you with?

I have an experience with, no offense, Pakistan suppliers fro PC parts, help at least 4 to 5 users from Pakistan in the past, but none from Afghanistan, and budget in your money
Since with AMD cards Sapphire seems to be the best for your case and considering place of residence, I wold have to probably screen all European manufacturers for the same Dual BIOS, it will take a lot of time, so your suppliers' links would help a lot - I don't want to look for things you can not get.

Hello Kisianik,

I'm currently looking to also upgrading my GPU and was really interestd in knowing whether you went with the PNY GTX 900 GeForce GTX 960 VCGGTX9602XPB 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 XLR8 Graphics Card after all.

If so, how did it perform and if not, what did you eventually decide?
