GPU upgrade help

Hello all and thanks for your time. I currently have a stock HP Phoenix H9-1350 with an XFX HD 7870 DD installed. I was looking at the XFX R9 280x DD. My PSU is 600w. Can I run this card with no problem?

It should be fine if your PSU can put out 600 watts.
Most cheap unbranded PSUs can not get close to their ratings.
I would get a good brand PSU and not risk killing your system.
Get EVGA, Corsair, and Seasonc.
It says it needs a 500 watt PSU.
I would upgraded to around 750 watts. You will need at least a +12v rail with 45 amps.
Yes, amps are important. 45x12=540 watts on the +12v rail.
Even that is cutting it close. I would get 50+ amp PSU.

Umm.. If you need an upgrade, the gtx 770 is slightly faster and usually cheaper. And noone really trusts prebuilt computers' PSUs.
Also, what monitor setup do you have? A 7870 is enough for 1080p IMO

And you don't need a 750w psu. a xfx550w would probably suffice, if you feel you need more, a 650w from a reliable manufacturer would be plenty.

1080p monitor and its fine to me...ive seen 2k and 4k gaming and I honestly cant tell a big difference...well, IMO, nothing worth spending a premium over 1080p for.
