So I have a GA 78LMT USB3 R2 motherboard and I am looking to buy the FX6300 in the next week, so then that leaves me with my GPU, I currently have the GTX 760 windforce and I would like to upgrade, now what are my best options for minimal bottlenecking and best results? Open to NVIDIA or AMD suggestions.

Solution
RX570 4GB = £155

I wouldn't "upgrade" from your current x4 965 if it were my money. The FX6300 isn't much better, even though it has moar coarz that's not the whole picture. Save your money for a CPU+mobo+RAM upgrade.
I think "upgrading" to an FX6300 is a potential waste of money unless you're on a tight budget and get one super cheap.

Please provide your current CPU, how much RAM, and make/model/wattage of your power supply.

Monitor resolution and frequency?
Country ?
Budget?

The reason I was going to upgrade to the 6300 is due to my mother board (GA 78LMT USB3 R2) having problems running 125W CPU's, as I was originally going to get the FX8350.

My current CPU is an ancient AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition, I have 8GB HyperX Fury 1600Mhz, and I have a Corsair CX750M power supply (probably overkill I know but in future upgrades I wont have to worry).

My monitor resolution is 1680x1050 and honestly I have no idea about the frequency, it was a hand-me-down. I'm from the UK and my budget is honestly not massive for the GPU, probably no more than £150, possibly £200.

Thanks

The only problem there is I have only just bought the motherboard and ram this week and then found out about the problems with 125W CPU's so I'd rather not have to buy another board ect. My plan was to buy the 6300 and I've read that with the CPU and my board is overclockable to around 4.0Ghz which in theory should be a worthwhile upgrade from my Phenom II, being that the 6300 is only around £50 brand new. You recommend the RX570 4GB? I'll have a look, thanks.
