Hey Guys,

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at upgrading my GTX960 and am unsure which graphics card to go with as its above my knowledge. I'm currently running:-

Intel Core i5 4690k
ASRock z97 Anniversary
16gb DDR3 1600MHZ
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

What games are you playing?
What resolution is your monitor?
What settings do you play your games at?
Playing a variety of games but most are 3D shooters eg far cry 5 at a resolution of 1080P on a benq 24' monitor.
Just want advise on a card that will suit the current system at get me by for a few more years, I built this at least 7 years ago and have been happy.

will this bottleneck with the cpu etc?

Your 4 core / 4 thread CPU isn't ideal; if you are able to upgrade it to minimum a 6 core / 12 thread CPU in a year or so, that would be good. However, your GPU is currently a significantly larger source of difficulty for you when it comes to hitting 1080p 60 fps with your games. The RTX 2060 is a very good 1080p 60 fps GPU; if you had a 144 hz monitor and were trying to go over 60 fps, then I'd recommend a new CPU first, but for 1080p 60 fps you should definitely go for that RTX 2060.
