Question GPU upgrade ideas

Hi!

I currently have an rx 580 4gb paired with an AMD ryzen 5 2600. I play at 1080p, 144 hz with plans to move to 1440p by christmas (however, I am happy to stay at 1080p). I'm most likely going to be getting a ryzen 4000 series CPU when they release.

Should I buy a 5600 XT, 5700 or 5700XT?

I would wait, Nvidia are making an announcement on the 14th May about their new Ampere GPU's= RTX 3000 series and AMD will be bringing their much anticipated "Big Navi" for GÜU's later in the year. Whatever happens the prices of the older GPU series will drop and you could get a really sweet deal. Another 4-6 months may well be worth it.
