Hello everyone,
In 2012, I built my first gaming computer with the help of this forum. The help was very appreciated and everything worked out perfectly. I have played different games over the past 7 years and none were very GPU intensive. I never had any issue running games at max graphics. I recently downloaded Mordhau and I am not able to run Mordhau at max settings. I had to drop to medium graphics and tweak other settings to get the game to run decently and it is still a little choppy. It seems to take a couple minutes to fully load the maps up and for it to smooth out "mostly". I would like to put in a SSD (since I didn't when I built it) and upgrade the GPU to hold me over for a couple years. Reason being, the plan is to head off to pharmacy school within the next two years and I won't even have time to game there. Once out I'll just simply build another computer. What would be the best GPU my computer could handle without bottlenecking? Thank you for the help now and in the past. It's great that someone who knows so little like me is able to come here and get great, solid advice. The components are:
