I'm looking to upgrade my GTX1660 Super for modest gaming. I tend to play online MMORPGs, not FPS. ESO online is what I play the most.
I ran HW Monitor and it showed that my GPU reaches 100% utilization, when playing.
MY system is as follows:
Win 11 Pro
AMD RYZEN 5 5600x
Gigabyte Aorus B550 Pro, Rev 2.
Seasonic Pulse 750w.
32 GB DDR4 Ram.
AOC Predator Monitor. I use the DP connection.

A bit of future proofing would be nice, but the current higher end GPUs should be available refurbished in the next few years, so it's not all that important. I would like to spe4nd as close to $200 as possible. $300 is my max. Or close to it.

Well, I see two interesting cards for $210, the Intel Arc A750 and the AMD Radeon RX 6600:

Acer Arc A750 BiFrost 8GB - $210
Sapphire Radeon RX 6600 Pulse 8GB - $210

Now, the Arc A750 is technically 10% faster than the Radeon RX 6600. I say technically because Arc cards aren't yet fully stable and there are still games that they cannot run, like, at all. Also, the Acer BiFrost cooler is a blower-style cooler and those can sound like jet engines when they ramp up. The Radeon uses a standard twin-fan cooler which will be better at cooling and quieter to boot.

If you're good at GPU troubleshooting, the A750 might be fun for you but if you want a card that just works (which is most people), then the RX 6600 would be the best choice.

Either way, you'll have to run DDU in Safe Mode to completely rid your system of your current GeForce drivers before installing the new Radeon or Arc drivers. Not doing so leaves driver remnants that will cause havoc with the Radeon or Arc drivers.

The RX 6600 is 35% faster and the A750 is 49% faster (in games that it can play). They both offer 2GB of extra VRAM.
