Hey guys I have a MSI R9 270x and I'm wanting to upgrade, my price budget is £170. I can't choose between this: http://www.ebuyer.com/704631-gigabyte-gtx-960-oc-4gb-gddr5-dual-link-dvi-hdmi-displayport-pci-e-gv-n960wf2oc-4gd

and this http://www.ebuyer.com/730576-sapphire-nitro-r9-380-4gb-gddr5-dvi-i-dvi-d-hdmi-displayport-pci-e-graphics-11242-13-20g

Would these give me a much better performance than my r9 270x or should I wait longer for prices to drop down?

I am open to suggestions to other GPU's at the same price point!

Cheers guys really appropriate it, don't want to waste my money in any way!

Solution
If power is a non-issue, the R9 380 is a slightly more powerful card in general. Note that in specific cases (as advancedmixedgaming pointed out), the GTX960 is stronger. Overclocking either card may make up any difference, and will also use more power. If you have a good 500W PSU, either card is fine. If you only have 450W, get the GTX960.
