Hi everyone,

Within the next couple days I plan on upgrading to a 980ti from my current 770. I was looking on Newegg and there seems to be a ton of different variants for the EVGA 980ti series.

Since some of these do vary a bit in price I was curious if there was really a big difference between all of these or if there are any recommendations.

For reference here is the page I'm referring too: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487142

Yeah evga got carried away with the variants of 980tis. The 980ti and 980ti SC are reference Nvidia cards with blower style cooler. Acx 2.0 cards are none reference cards but still use Nvidia gpu without customizations. Acx 2.0 has one with a black plate but it's identical to all other acx 2.0 cards. FTW uses the same cooler as acx but has slightly higher clockspeed. Hybrid is water-cooled and uses Nvidia reference gpu. Hydrocooper and kingpin use custom version of 980ti gpu for better power delivery. Hydrocooper is meant for custom water loop systems. Kingpin is air based and should be evga's vest air cooled card. I own acx 2.0+ card with backplate and couldn't be happier. Hope this helps!
