Here is my pc I built in 2013

i7 3770k OC @ 4.2
1 x Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5
2x G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900)
ASUS P8Z77-V PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z77
HyperX 3K 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

I want to upgrade the gpu to the gtx1070. I dont think thats bottle necking with the CPU?. Any Recommendations on what else I should upgrade? I would like to stream games and was wondering if upgrading my gpu would help me maintain good frames while I'm streaming or recording?

Thanks for the responses.

I was under the impression that streaming is a more CPU intensive task. That being said there's no substantial bottleneck happening with the 3770k and a 1070.

Also "G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (4 x 4GB)" the 4x4gb means you have 4 sticks of ram all at 4 gb, but you list only 8 gb there. If you have 8 gb of ram, consider moving to a total of 16 gb

I don't know about streaming performance, but I can tell you that I have an Ivy Bridge CPU (i5 3570k) and I bought a GTX 1070 a short time ago. I can play Overwatch at 100+ fps even at high settings.

Your CPU probably does bottle neck your GPU a little bit, but you'll still get good performance out of a new GTX 1070.

I've heard that some games prefer 16GB of RAM over 8GB. If you don't have 16GB already, then you might want to change that.

Besides that, Ivy Bridge still has a few tricks left. Don't retire it just yet.
