GPU upgrade to GTX 1060 question

Hello,
I currently have this PC configuration:

CPU: Intel i7 3770 3.4 ghz ( https://ark.intel.com/products/65719/Intel-Core-i7-3770-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-3_90-GHz )

GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 760 2gb ( https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N760OC-2GD-rev-20#ov )

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 ( https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z68AP-D3-rev-20#ov )

I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU to this one: https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1060G1-GAMING-6GD-rev-10#kf
First, is the card compatible to my system? Is there going to be any "bottleneck"?
And second, is this a worhty upgrade? I'm expecting high/ultra settings for current and upcoming games and high performance in CAD programs, can the gpu give me those?

It all depends on how much you have to spend, if you can spend the extra 300 on the 1060 and not miss any bills, go for it, you aren't going to see the largest fps boost, but it definatly will show.

How about the compatibility? Will everything work fine with each other? I am worried the CPU would be less powerful than the GPU.

Your 1060 will work just nice. Also, your 3770K should be fine most of the time, even though some games are known for drawing a lot of CPU power... but yo should be able to play most titles withouth the smallest bottlenecking.

Worse case scenario, you can overclock it a little bit; GTX 1060 is an awesome card for 1080p, but you gotta check prices since everything seems to be crazy theese days. Anywhere around 230€ is a fair price in my country, but some shops are selling it at more than 300€.
