Hi,

I've just upgraded my pc with an MSI GTX970 and an extra 8GB of RAM. I had hoped from the research I did before buying the card that I'd be able to run most games on max, but am getting around 20FPS on Smite at max with AA low.

My system looks like this:
i5 3570k
MSI GTX970
16gb RAM
800w psu
Win10 Home

Driver version 353.62
I've tried reinstalling the driver from a download restarting in between uninstall and reinstall.

If anyone can help I'd be hugely grateful.

Any questions let me know.

Thanks in advance

I have a GTX 970 Strix and can almost max most games with great frames. There is definitely an issue.
Did you use Display Driver Uninstaller to completely remove ALL display drivers from your PC and then installed the new drivers?

Also, what resolution are you running at?

I didn't use the uninstaller, just uninstalled the display driver, think there's just the one.
Running 1920x1080

I've been getting some graphical glitches today on top of the low FPS, and saw in another thread that that might be due to a faulty card, so probably going to RMA it and see what they say.

I would use DDU to remove the drivers and reinstall the correct ones before RMAing.. It doesn't take long.

If you're referring to the other post I'm thinking of, then those aren't glitches, it's visual artifacts something usually only caused by either over stressing the card or a bad card altogether. Are you sure you're getting those? I feel like you would have mentioned those before. They look like red light flares and such.

Thanks, am trying the uninstaller now, will let you know how it goes.

I only noticed the graphical glitches today. Either they weren't happening yesterday or I just didn't see them, But yes, it was just some strange shadowing, no flares.

Hi,

Just ran the uninstaller, restarted and reinstalled the drivers, but no change unfortunately. :/

Is there anything else you can suggest?
