And it's GPU upgrade time!!!
I only have a 1080p monitor but I'm thinking an Asus GTX 1070, or wait for vega.

But I grow ever impatient as vega is still nowhere to be seen! should I pull the trigger on the 1070 Strix or wait a little longer?

(oh and monitor is 75hz, not 60)

Thanks

If you're sticking with that monitor the 1070 could be considered overkill in all fairness.
What it will do absolutely is give you 2-3 years future-proofing absolutely guaranteed if you keep your cards past a generation nor two.
Seeing as you're still running a 280 I'll assume that does relate to you.

Haha yes, the definitely does apply to me. I want the 1070 to last me a long time, and the possibility of upgrading to a 1440p monitor in the future isn't unreasonable!
