[SOLVED] GPU upgrade?

I currently have a gtx 980 with an i75930k. What GPU could I upgrade to that would not be a bottleneck? Just wanna make sure I can play upcoming games at 80 plus fps at 1080p. Stick to nvidia please. Thanks!

You can upgrade up to RTX 2070.

It's prices are also expected to drop as it's been discontinued now and replaced by the RTX 2070 Super.

What do you think about the 1080? My 980 works great right now...just looking for something to give my rig a little more life

GTX 1080 is a very capable graphics card but in 2019, RTX 2060 Super just makes more sense.

RTX 2070 is tiny bit better but it might not be worth it.

All three have very similar performance but i guess RTX 2060 Super is the way to go.

However, if you're looking for something used, then GTX 1080 is hard to beat.
