Hi, so I want to upgrade my gpu to play on 1440p with no problems. My current pc is:

Rtx 3060 ti
5600x
2x8gb ram 3600
Aio cooler for cpu
B550 aorus elite v2
1tb ssd
750w psu 80+ gold gigabyte

I have to choose between this gpus to uograde: 7800xt, 7900gre, 4070 or 6950xt.

I will love something that could work for some time with that 750w psu. Thanks!

Is the 7900gre even available to buy? The 7900xt would really set you up, but it's not on your list...probably more than you want to spend.

You want to play at 1440p, but you didn't mention games or the fps you want. Assuming you want to play the latest and greatest titles at over 150fps, then you'll need the 6950xt. However the 7800xt is a good GPU for 1440p and has newer features over the slightly older 6950xt, and it consumes less power. Only consider the 4070 if you really want good raytracing and/or are an Nvidia fanboy :)

Playing games no problems is relative. Poorly coded/optimized game will be a poorly made game, Cyberpunk, Starfield, Last of Us, Jedi Survivor, etc..

If 4070 is the only Nvidia card in the table go with the best AMD card you can afford.

Try this simple test:
Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
This makes the graphics card loaf a bit.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

Any of the selected graphics cards would be a good upgrade.
I see them as relatively comparable in that tier of performance:

On the psu, is yours one of the suspect units?

Yes is that psu, so it’s seems that i have to quickly change it, and what would you recommend? 850w psu?
