Question GPU upgrade

Hello all - I just finished up a new build.

Current specs are :

Mobo : MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi
CPU : Ryzen 5 7600x
CPU Cooler : Lian Li ACL360
Storage : Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2tb SSD
Ram : Teamgroup T-Force Vulcan DDR5 32gb 6000mhz
PSU : Corsair RM850E
Case : Lian Li Lancool 207
GPU : MSI MECH 2X OC 6700XT (Brought over from old build)

I am wanting to upgrade to something better for 1440p, I get decent FPS but it seems I am having some bottleneck

Thoughts on best upgrade path? So far I am considering the 7800XT, 7900GRE, 7900XT, 4070ti & 4070ts

Budget, I'd like to keep around $750 USD or less

For a value pick Newegg has an open box 6800xt for 399. This is the same card as in my rig and I’m running 1440p also.

For another 40 bucks they’ve got a new 7800xt though.

Or you could go with the 7900 gre, or the 7900xt as shown above.

On nvidia side you’d likely want at least a 4070 or 4070 ti.

I ended up ordering that 7900xt you linked. after trading my 6700xt in that drops the price to $430. I figured thats pretty hard to beat

Nice. I’ve got a 6800xt and I’m happy with that card. A friend of mine has the 7900 xtx and he seems to like it. He had a 3090 before that.

See you had to say that lol. Started looking at the 7900gre and they’ll offer 322 for my 6800xt. Man that’s tempting…
