sometimes when i'm playing games my GPU goes down to 0% and freezes my game for a couple of seconds. I can still hear audio during this period of time. I read a post on here from someone who's HDD was the problem, i had already put everything on a new HDD and was playing GTA 5 when it started to freeze again. My monitoring OSD was not on so I don't know if it was my GPU dropping again but i presume it was the same. Any idea how i can fix this?

specs:
asus z97 deluxe
evga geforce gtx 960 ssc 2gb
corsair vengeance pro series ddr3 1600 mhz 12gb
samsung 850 evo 120gb
2x seagate barracuda 1tb
corsair vs550

the first time it happened was a couple of months ago, I didn't think much of it but it kept happening. I did nothing different from the usual for this to happen

i tried almost everything i could except my RAM. Could it be that this is in fact a RAM issue?

Did you ever find a solution? Im having the exact same issue, and no errors in the RAM diagnostic.

YES! i did find the problem.. i had Advanced Systemcare installed and it has a function where it clears your memory when it exceeds 50-60 % usage.. so i disabled it and now it works fine again :)
