GPU video rendering still causes CPU usage/heat

I'm rendering my videos with adobe media encoder, with OpenCL GPU option selected (not software rendering) I'm getting faster rendering, but my processor (i7 4790k-no overclock) always reaching to %85-95 usage which means overheat. I thought GPU rendering relies on graphics card , not CPU, is something wrong?

If your CPU is truly overheating under load, that would be my top concern. What temps are you reaching?

As far as CPU usage while rendering. The CPU is still going to be utilized. The GPU can't handle all aspects of the rendering process; it just accelerates the parts that it can.
