[SOLVED] GPU voltage and wattage drops ?

Greetings everyone. I have a frustrating issue with my build. Occasionally my computer just freeze and enters into a black screen with nothing happening, not even a restart. I have to manually restart to solve this issue. I am suspecting that the GPU is the culprit as I ran the GPU-Z monitoring app and found that the PCIe solt voltage sits around 7-9 when the card is idle and then drops to 1.2 when I ran Furmark test!!!
Is this normal? Does this mean that the card is at fault or the PSU?

mother board gigabyte H61M
PSU 500 W 80 plus
Intel Core i5-2500K
4GB DDR3, NIVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti

Make and model information for that 500 Watt PSU? Age, condition?

Look in Reliability History for any error codes, warnings, etc. that may be being captured at the time of the black screens.

Not a full test because the PSU is not under load. However, any voltages which are off of spec make the PSU a suspect.
