The RX580 and the GTX 1060 uses GDDR5 but in MSI Afterburner it says the GTX 1060 as 8000MHz and the RX580 as 2000MHz does this mean the GTX 1060 has a 4X faster VRAM?

Is your version of GPU-Z old? Update to the latest. It should not be showing 8000MHz memory for the 1060.

Can you show us the GPU-Z screenshot. Use imgur.com to link the picture on this forum.
I do not have a GTX1060 I just have a RX580.
I had seen on youtube GTX 1060 displaying 8000MHz in MSI afterburner
my RX 580 displays only 2000MHz in MSI afterburner
Does that mean a GTX 1060 is 4 times faster than a RX580?
