GPU vs CPU for CSGO

I'm a little split between getting an i5-7600k and an EVGA1080ti iCX 3.0 or an i7-7700k with a 1080ti FE. As the name implies, I'm going to play a lot of CSGO on it. Which is the better combo? Thanks

For csgo they're both crazy crazy overkill.

On a performance level the i7 is hands down superior.

Both are completely overkill for CSGO, so get whichever GPU looks better to you, they're both great. As for i7 vs i5... if you can afford it get the i7.
