i have a Dell Inspiron 5680 that has a 3GB 1060 and i just bought an MSI armor 8GB 1070 to upgrade my pc to play some games that require some better graphics cards, and i was just wondering that if i have a 460w PSU will the graphics card clash with the GPU and make it crash or rather run more terrible than if i was to stick with my normal card that i have in it? OR am i gonna have to buy a bigger power supply just to run it?

Solution
I think your new GTX1070 will need a 8 pin pcie power connector.
If your dell psu does not have such a connector or two 6 pin connectors(which I doubt), it will not be able to run your new card properly.
If you use adapters to get that 8 pin input, the card may run.
If the psu has insufficient power, you will see artifacts or have other problems.
That is the best case.
Worse is if the psu fails under load and damages other parts.

Be prepared to buy a new psu.
I like the Seasonic focus units.
Look for 550-650w.
