Hello,

I am new to water cooling, so I figured I'd cheat and get one of these cool new all-in-one CPU/GPU coolers from ID-Cooling, the Hunter Duet (http://www.idcooling.com/Product/detail/id/56/name/HUNTER%20DUET). It is compatible with my CPU, but I'm not sure how to determine compatibility for my GPU. Note, this is a new rig, so which card I buy is still kind of up in the air, but I was leaning toward an NVIDIA GTX 960.

The measurements for GPU compatibility with the water cooling are 58.4*58.4mm; 53.3*53.3mm; 51*61mm – but frankly, I don't really know what that means, and I don't want to buy the two parts, realize they don't fit together, then have to return one or the other. Can anyone tell me how I can determine compatibility with these measurements? Thanks.

EDIT:

I just noticed the list of compatible cards ID-Cooling provides at the bottom of their page, so we're good! However, I'd still like to know how I can determine compatibility myself without the manufacturer explicitly telling me.

They have a compatability list on the web page you linked....

To be honest, the 960 is a very cool and quiet running card anyway, I would only consider this worth while if you were using a very hot and loud card like the R9 290/290x.

Thanks for your feedback. Check out the update to my OP - I'm still hoping to learn how to understand those measurements and determine compatibility manually.

Not sure exactly what you are asking?

They are listing the compatibility based on the location of the mounting holes on the graphics card. Most card manufacturers wouldn't list these as its not information most people would need, so you do need to rely on their info unless you can find it from elsewhere.
