Hello,
I’ve got a question I have a power supply of 450 watt I want to buy a graphics card that uses 215 watt but it says minimum required PSU is 650 watt am I still able to get it because it uses 215 watt or do I really need 650 watt?
inno3d geforce rtx 2070 super gaming oc x3
Unreleased
Corsair SF450 platinum 80
I don’t exactly know when it came out

thanks for helping 🙏🏼

Your proposed card needs a 6 and a 8 pin connector.
That has a potential to use 75w for the 6 pin, 150w for the 8 pin and 75w for the slot.
Your SF450 has two 6+ 2 connectors so it should be able to power your new card.
Of course, you also need power for the CPU and peripherals.
What is your processor, and are you overclocking?
Unless you are overly heavy on the cpu, I would try your 450w unit.
No damage will happen if it turns out to be insufficient.
The most likely symptom will be display artifacts.

Your case requires a SFX format due to the size.
There are now some good/strong SFX units available if you should need more power.
