Hi! I posted a thread earlier about me lagging while playing games on High Detail. I found out that I mostly need to update my GPU (or RAM, but its a lower priority.)

So what do you guys think? Should I upgrade my GPU like im planning, or RAM first? And also, What GPU Should I get, to be able to handle games like WoW, Smite, Etc. On High Detail without lag? (Be specific please, including everything i need to know, like GHz on the GPU, and such. Even a link to bestbuy/amazon would be WONDERFUL!) Thanks!

P.S. - I want to be able to max out games like WoW, DayZ, Battlefield 3, Etc. Thank you!

Computer Specs:
-Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5450
-Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor 3.20 GHz
-Memory(RAM): 4.00 GB (DDR3)
-PSU: Dynex 520-Watt ATX Power Supply

Would this be good?
Asus - Radeon HD 7750 Graphic Card - 820 MHz Core - 1 GB GDDR5 SDRAM - PCI Express 3.0
Or is a 900 MHz Core needed, or what? I'm fairly new to GPU's, sorry.

Getting the GTX 650 Ti, would i be able to play on Max settings on most games like WoW, Smite, DayZ and such? (Remember, I only have 4 Gb of RAM) I'm not worried about BF3, I just heard it was hard to max, and was seeing if i was capable of it. 😛

EDIT: I looked on bestbuy's website, is this the right GTX? They have a couple different ones, costing a little bit more. (Around $170 instead of $150)

So my RAM is fine, all i should worry about is a new GPU like we just mentioned, and ill be able to play on high settings like you're saying? I was way off.. i thought RAM was my problem. (Reminder; I have 4 Gb RAM) :/

Local if possible, is there anything special from the ones on Newegg? Also, could you please point out which one i should get? They seem to be different than the best buy ones, but idk how. I'm clueless about GPUs.. :/

Also, this might be an issue, sorry for not pointing it out earlier. My RAM is normally running a little under 2.00 GB (Half of my 4 GB RAM) just while my computer is idle. Is this a problem, if so, how do i fix it?
P.S. - Thank you a TON for helping me. Its greatly appreciated.

My RAM while idling is still over a gig. Here is what I mean. (Its a link to a pic, its safe.)

Should my ram be lower, or is this fine? Thanks for telling the specific GPU to get, by the way!

No haha that's fine. That's just how much ram is currently in use. When you're idling, you're not using all your resources. This shows that you have more than enough for most tasks, and for gaming. 8 gigs is better but you don't really need it. Maybe when you get like $40 later, get 4 more gigs (same brand, size, type). No problem lol, glad to help.

Enjoy your gaming.

Okay just a few more questions and I'll leave you alone. Basically just verifying everything.
With the new GPU that you sent me a link to, I should be able to either play on high, or max out most games?
And what would upgrading my RAM from 4 to 8 do? Thanks!
