As title says, In order to fix this I switch around the RAM in the slots and the display comes on. The RAM and parts of the PC are only around 5 months old. Any solutions will be much appreciated, Thanks

According to manufacturer "...for dual channel configuration, and for trouble-free operation you always need to install identical (the same brand, speed, size and chip-type) DDR4 DIMM pairs..."

Did you make any changes to the system (e.g. settings, software or hardware upgrades, BIOS, etc)?
It will be helpful if you post details about the RAM sticks (e.g. Crucial 8GB DDR4 2400MHz CT8G4DFD824A + Crucial 4GB DDR4 2400MHz CT8G4DFD824A ).
PSU model?

PSU model?

I have Crucial 4 GB (DDR4, 2400 MT/s, PC4-19200, CL17, Single Rank x8, DIMM, 288-Pin) Memory and Crucial CT8G4DFS8266 8 GB (DDR4, 2666 MT/s, PC4-21300, Single Rank x8, DIMM, 288-Pin) Memory inserted. and the PSU model is sst-st45sf (450 watt).

You have diferente type of RAM speed, size, chip and CL (CL17 vs CL19) trying to work together and that kind of mismatch RAM could cause all kinds of problems at any give time.
At the very least try to match RAM of the same speed and CL.
That system might run more stable with just the 8GB module.

If I was to buy another one of these would it fix my problem?

The manufacturer recommends matching RAM from a kit. Matching RAM modules in a kit are tested to work together.
At the moment that's the closest you could get if you cannot get a kit.

Thanks Ill run 1 stick for a couple of days and if that runs perfectly ill either buy the same one or a kit.
