GPU wobble in slot

Hey,

I just recently installed my GTX 1080 onto a Strix Z240E in a Fractal Design Define R5 case.

The computer boots properly and has no issues at all, but, when I was installing the GPU into the slot, before I screwed it to the rear of the case, it felt rather wobbly in the slot - as if it could pivot slightly up and down (I.e. up towards the CPU and down towards the bottom of the case).
When inserting it, I didn't hear a click, but on visual inspection, the clip appeared to be clicked into space, albeit with the noctua NH-d15 on, it was somewhat hard to see, and gently tugging on the GPU didn't seem to pull it out of the slot (but may have used too little force on the pull).

It's making me slightly paranoid, so thought I'd ask:

- is it normal for a GPU to be a bit wobbly even when fully inserted into the PCIe slot, before screws?

- if there was an issue, would I know immediately on boot?

And last but not least:
- if no to the above: should I try to take out the GPU and put it back in to see if it could fit better?

Solution
It is not impossible to have some wobble when the GPU is not screwed down. You could try a quick re-insert to make sure it is snug but as long as everything boots ok I wouldn't stress it to much.
Cheers. I'll keep that in mind. :)

When I installed it I used as much downward force as I dared, the MB even flexed a little, so had to stop. Maybe I'm just being overly paranoid.

Will at the least open it up and try and get a good picture of it in the slot, see if it's visibly in or not.
