Okay so I recently got parts for a pc for my brother, and all the parts are compatible because I’ve used them all together before:
Cpu: I3-7320
Mobo: b250m
Ram: aegis 8gb 3000mhz
Gpu: gt 1030 2gb oc
Psu: evga 600w

So my problem is, I got the pc booted and installed windows and everything but it was only displaying the screen through the motherboards hdmi port. I’ve seen this before and all I had to do before was load the pc and then restart and it would display through the gpu but that wasn’t working this time. The gpu fans turned on and it seemed to be running fine but when I went into devices, the only graphics it showed was the integrated graphics, not any gpu. I figured maybe the mobo settings were set to register IGD but they were set to register PEG. I’m lost now and don’t know how to get it to detect the gpu, if anyone could help that would be awesome.

Solution
Try removing and reinstalling the graphics card. Sounds like it's not fully seated. Also, make sure it's installed in the x16 slot that is closest to the CPU socket.
