GPU won’t display when connected to monitor

I just installed a new GPU and it won’t display anything on my monitor when plugged in through the VGA slot. I have a Gigabyte GeForce GT 1030 OC. I’ve tried just about everything. I’ve checked my VGA connector type and it is the correct type. I’ve checked the BIOS and it is set to the PCIe slot. I’ve also tried installing the new drivers, also with no luck. My old GPU works just fine through the VGA. It is a Nvidia Quadro FX 1800. I’m really struggling here. Thanks in advance!

GTX1030 does not HAVE a VGA output, VGA is analog and the GTX10xx series only support digital output.

Still no VGA outputsI listed.

If your monitor only has VGA inputs, then you will need an Active converter that will convert Digital video to analog.
A passive adapter that only changes the form factor to VGA will not work.

Ran into another problem. Tried running the GPU through an HDMI cable, and still no output. I have a Dell Precision T3500 Workstation with factory parts if that helps.
