Hello,
(first of all not sure if this is the right thread ,if not I'm sorry).
Thanks to some luck I got free pc parts to make a pc to mess around with but my GPU won't fit in the case by a couple of cm (blocked by graphics card's mounting bracket) and I'm not sure if it is because of the case or just bad luck with motherboard placement and if there is a fix or if I just need a new case and/or motherboard.
I searched and found that you could remove the brackets but the bars that hold the brackets are still in the way, any way I can remove those (safely) ? Or do I need to get a new case? I hope not since I'm trying to be on a budget.
Here are the parts that it is about.
Motherboard : Asus FM1 F1A55-V.
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 4GB
case: Cooler Master K-350 Advanced
If I said/asked something stupid I apologise in advance, thanks for help anyway.
