I have a Gtx 1060 Sc in my new pc. Whenever I instll the gpu, no video is outputted, not even the bios. I am fairly sure that I installed everything correctly, but this is my first build so maybe I made a mistake.

Solution
So motherboard knows there is a GPU installed, and thinks it works.
Check your HDMI cable if it sure works, try another HDMI port on the card. If still nothing, gotta do that hard way:
Remove GPU. Go into BIOS, set GPU priority to integrated first, save and exit. Install GPU, but keep monitor connected to motherboard. Go to Windows, open Device manger, go to Graphic cards tab, see if 1060 shows up there, and what error codes show in status. If it's there, try to install Nvidia drivers. Reboot, check if GPU shows ok in Device manger, connect HDMI cable to it and see if you got display.
Cables are correct then.
Did you connected power cable from PSU to your GPU (don't know which one this unit uses, but it will be either 6 pin or 8 pin cable)? Did you select correct input source in monitor?
When GPU is installed, and you start PC, can you get display from motherboard?
