Hello there , i recently upgraded my build since i fried the mobo which was a am1 budget build i upgraded from CPU athlon 5350 to an FX 6300 and motherboard is ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+, i got the parts yesterday built it this morning but there seems to be a problem the GPU fans start when i boot the computer but then stop a second after then they just get stuck and keep trying to move it dosen't stop , i tried to clear CMOS twice now, since i don't have a case i put it ontop of the non static wrapper and ontop of a plastic box which came with the cpu and motherboard. i firstly forgot the standoffs but installed them right after no display and GPU still stops right after boot everything is working fine heatsink the pc fans since im using the old case to still use all the components from there to the motherboard but still get no display anything i could try? i know i read some posts that suggest me to use thermal paste because the stock cooler brings barely any paste, also im sure its no the GPU since i tried using my old r7 240 which i let my friend borrow and he was using it yesterday but fans stop on it too. i can't use the speaker because its broken everything works other than the GPU and i get no display.
