I had this issue once a few months ago but now it happens every time I turn off or put my PC to sleep, the computer starts up, goes black, then everything restarts but the GPU isn't on.
By removing the GPU from the motherboard and putting it back in it just starts working again. Any ideas what's wrong?
Update: There is a light under the name on the card. The
light isn't on and the fans don't spin when it happens. That's how I know the GPU is either unplowed or off when this happens.
CPU: i7 8700K (not overclocked)
GPU: EVGA Nvidia GTX 980 4GB SC ACX 2.0
Motherboard: Asus Maximus X Hero
PSU: Corsair RM 850x
RAM: 3200MHz Trident Z
