I have been experiencing this issue since I bought my GTX 970.

On a cold boot it's almost impossible to operate anything GPU related, heavy frame stutter, black screen that blinks randomly. But, whenever I restart the computer everything works like a charm.

I have tried every single driver with the same result on everyone.

I don't know if it is malfunctioning or something OS related, I will be reinstalling everything and checking for answers.

EDITx2: Sorry for no system specs, here you go:

CPU: AMD FX-6300
GPU: MSI GTX 970
Mobo: Asrock 980DE3/U3S3
Ram: 8GB 1866 MHz
PSU: Tacens Radix VII 600W Silver

Exactly the same problem. Maybe it's Asrock mobo (i got 970DE3)?
GPU: MSI GTX 970
Mobo: Asrock 970DE3/U3S3

What PSU do you have? Jalu_ has a poor quality PSU that is most likely causing the issues.

I have experienced the same thing, the time stamps are out of whack.

My motherboard is 980DE3/U3S3 Rev 1.03 and reverting back to BIOS version 1.5 fixed the problem for me.

Very annoying Asrock! 🙁
