GPU worth the upgrade w/ current setup?

Hello all! Here are my specs:

Wondering if I upgrade to a GTX 1080 Ti, would I get max usage out of the GPU?

Ps. I currently have a CX750M PSU, is that sufficient enough or would that need an upgrade as well?

Hello
What GPU do you have right now? If you want to get a GTX 1080 Ti it will be perfectly fine with your current setup, as it's still very capable machine.

Cx 750M is not the most efficienc power supply but it will do the job with 1080 Ti.

Thanks for your quick response! I currently have a GTX 980.

Perhaps I should upgrade my PSU as well? If so, any suggestions?

Edit: So, I had a conversation with some old timer that came into my job. He said my boards bus speed should be on par with the 1080's bus speed, otherwise the GPU would more or less stay idle, waiting for the board to speed up. I'm assuming my boards bus speed is fast enough for the 1080 Ti then?

Will you get more FPS? Yes. Will you have bottlenecking? Yes. What is your current CPU usage while gaming? PSU is sufficient but not a higher quality model, I wouldn't mess with it until it gives you issues.

What component would be causing the bottlenecking?

As for the CPU usage, I just opened the games Seige and PUBG to their menu screens and according to the task manager, my CPU usage is currently at 42%... not sure if that's an accurate way to check though, heh heh.

Would it be wiser/a better idea to get a second GTX 980 and do SLI?

Download MSI afterburner and run the in game monitoring to see your IN GAME Usage which will be higher. Bottleneck would be CPU

Looks like it's averaging around 75% - 85%. This is with the graphics on ultra settings.

This is also with my CPU at its stock 4.0 GHz. I could turbo up to 4.4 GHz.

So, it's starting to look like PaulieVideos was correct! :D

I really appreciate all your help! Never knew about MSI's Afterburner program, so thanks for that as well :)
