GPU-Z reporting PCIe 2.0 x16 1.1 bus interface for GTX1070-ti

Mother: Gigabyte Z77-D3H
Asus Strix GTX1070-ti

GPU-Z reports that the bus interface is PCIe 2.0 x16 1.1, (it's being limited to PCIe 2.0 because of the CPU, even when I have a PCIe 3.0 slot), but until what I know this is the lowest PCIe 2.0 speed that you can get. My question: Is that ok for my config specs? Should I be able to get a best config?
